Guildhall Live 2026
A spectacular FREE three-day music festival celebrating five decades of music, as part of Guildhall Shopping’s year-long 50th birthday celebrations.
Enjoy a fantastic weekend of FREE live entertainment, from Saturday 29 to Monday 31 August 2026, 11am – 4.30pm, with tribute performances celebrating five decades of iconic music. With six live shows taking place each day, there’s something for everyone to enjoy as we take a musical journey through the decades.
Performance times are scheduled throughout the day, creating a lively festival atmosphere, with giveaways and competitions from morning until late afternoon, all hosted by our compère to keep the celebrations going.

Take centre stage at Guildhall LIVE!
As part of Guildhall LIVE, we’re inviting talented local performers to be part of our brand-new Guildhall LIVE: Local Spotlight programme.
Whether you’re a choir, singer, band, dance school, theatre group, music school or community performance group, this is your chance to perform on our professional festival stage in the heart of Exeter as part of our three-day celebration.
Successful applicants will be offered a 30- 45 minute performance slot during the morning programme on one of the festival days, performing in front of shoppers, visitors and music lovers while helping us celebrate Guildhall Shopping Exeter’s 50th anniversary.
We’re looking for performers of all ages and styles who can help create a vibrant and welcoming atmosphere and showcase the incredible talent our local community has to offer.
